About us

Datastor was started by Paul’s dad Shaun back in 1993 who noticed the lack of data storage facilities in the North East. So he set up Datastor NE Ltd offering local businesses affordable and accessible document storage solutions. The business grew, as did Shaun’s children! After several moves to ever-larger premises Datastor is now based in Holystone and Shaun has handed over the reins to the next generation who plan to continue to grow and improve the business to meet your storage needs.

Most recently, in line with observed requirements, Datastor has created 100 internal self-contained, self-storage units. These rooms vary in size and are now ready for you to rent: short or long-term as required. As a business we will continue to improve and expand to ensure that our customers receive the best possible service and storage innovations… so watch this space.

Datastor may be bigger but some things remain the same:

• We’re still based in the North East.
• We still provide safe storage for many of the same clients and many new companies.
• We have many years of experience.
• We offer self-storage, document storage and office media storage.

The team

Who is the family team?
 
Well first of all there’s Paul who took over the business in 2017, and his wife Ali works alongside him. The same year Gary joined the business and a couple of years later in 2019, they were joined by Lee.

So if you’re looking for safe, state-of-the-art, flexible internal self-storage rooms, secure document management or media storage from a friendly, helpful and expert team… then you Better Call Paul.
