Our storage rooms

Our state-of-the-art, internal self-storage rooms are conveniently located close to the Tyne Tunnel, A19 and A1 and accessible from areas across the North East.

We offer a range of high-quality, clean, dry and modern units, from 25ft² storage rooms. It is easy to scale up or down your self-storage space as required.

You get access to your belongings 24 hours a day, seven days a week … you hold the keys and can come and go as you please.

What space do I need?

If you are unsure of the space you need, don’t worry our friendly staff will help you choose the right storage unit. Just provide a list of what you need to store and our expert staff will advise you on the size of unit you need.

This space estimator may also be helpful to calculate the storage space that you need. But don’t worry if when you’re all packed up you find you’ve booked the wrong size, we can change it for a bigger or smaller unit – no problem.

Self-storage with Datastor couldn’t be simpler or more flexible. So for whatever reason you need storage space, you’re in safe hands with our experienced staff, 24-hour CCTV and a range of fire and smoke detection systems.

Here’s how it works:

Choose your unit type/size and length of stay
… use our space estimator or speak to one of our team.
Reserve your storage unit
… once packed up you can change your unit size if what you have reserved is too small or too large.
Pack your items
… don’t forget we offer a range of packaging materials. Packing well allows you to easily stack your items into your unit and save space.
Transport your items
… we can recommend local removal companies, man-with-a-van services or van hire.
Check in and move in
… don’t forget your ID to sign your storage agreement. Free use of trolleys if required.
Moving out
… simply give us seven days’ written notice (we will accept email notification) when you want to vacate.
